Christine R. Arlitt Portfolio Manager Christine joined The Burney Company in 1987 and progressed to the position of Portfolio Manager in 1991. Prior to joining The Burney Company, she was employed by Arthur Andersen & Co. for over eight years. She received her BS in Finance and Economics from Towson University in 1977 and earned the designation of Certified Public Accountant in 1982.

Richard E. Bauchspies, Jr., CFA Portfolio Manager Richard joined The Burney Company in 1992 as an assistant Portfolio Manager and analyst. Richard is a Penn State graduate earning a BS in Civil Engineering in 1983. He achieved the Chartered Financial Analysts designation in 1996, and became a Portfolio Manager for the company that year as well.

Sherrie Campbell Portfolio Manager Sherrie is an Atlanta, Georgia native, joined The Burney Company in 1994. She received her undergraduate degree in 1985 and her masters in 1991 from the University of Georgia in Athens. Sherrie has been working in financial services since 1991. John M. (Mike) Daley Portfolio Manager Mike has been a Portfolio Manager with The Burney Company since 1984. Mike graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point and retired from the Army as a Colonel. He earned Masters and PhD degrees in nuclear physics at Tulane University.

John W. Drerup Portfolio Manager John joined The Burney Company as a Portfolio Manager in 2004. John received an undergraduate degree from the Naval Academy and served as a Navy Supply Corps Officer obtaining the rank of Captain. John earned a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Florida and earned a Masters in Personal Financial Planning from the College for Financial Planning.

Russell H. Floyd, CFA Portfolio Manager Russ’s commitment to the investment management process is backed by over 20 years of industry experience, with more than 16 years at Burney. As a member of the Investment Committee, he provides strategic investment advice to clients covering investment policy and asset allocation decisions, as well as portfolio management guidance. Russ is a CFA charterholder with a BS from Virginia Tech and a member of the CFA Institute.

Leonard C. Griffin Portfolio Manager "Griff" joined The Burney Company as a Portfolio Manager in 1984 following 21 years of service as a Supply Corps Officer in the Navy. He received a BS in Accounting from Howard Payne University and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.

Yevgeniy Gushcha, PhD Portfolio Manager Yevgeniy began his career with The Burney Company in 2000 as an Equity Analyst. In 2007 he transitioned to Portfolio Management as Head of Operations and Trading where his strong quantitative and technical skills were utilized in the efficient management of portfolios. Yevgeniy graduated from the American University with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance. In 2004, he earned a Ph.D. in Economics from KSU.

Thomas D. Hunt Portfolio Manager Tom joined The Burney Company in 1983 as one of their analysts. In early 1985, Tom became a Portfolio Manager and has remained a full time PM since. Tom received his BS from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, in 1977 and his MS from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan, in 1979.

Albert J. Mc Aloon Portfolio Manager Affiliating with The Burney Co. in 1981, Al became a full time Portfolio Manager after retiring from the Navy in 1983 as Deputy Director, Research Directorate at the National Defense University. He has been involved in the stock market since 1969 and has passed the NASD Series 2 and 65 exams. He hold a B.A./M.A. in Political Science from Marquette University/St. John's University. Al is active in his community where he has served as a director on several non-profit boards.

Dennis D. Puppel Portfolio Manager Dennis graduated from The Ohio State University in 1966 with a BS in Finance & Economics. He then served eight years active duty as an officer in the United States Army, Infantry. In 1974, he and his family returned to Columbus, OH and he set up a private consulting firm specializing in asset management and administration of retirement plans. Dennis became associated with The Burney Company in 1984 and then was appointed a full time Portfolio Manager in 1989.

Kenneth E. Stanley, Col. USAF (Ret)-VP. Portfolio Manager Ken is an Investment Adviser Representative of the company and President of Burney Investment Services. Ken received his BSEE from the U.S. Naval Academy and his MEA from George Washington University. Ken graduated at the top of his pilot training class and holds an FAA Airline Transport Pilot rating. He has been with the company since 1979.

Mark Vanderberg Portfolio Manager Mark Vanderberg, has been directly involved in the personal planning and investment field for the last 30 years. With a degree in Finance from the University of Colorado, he developed Investment/Financial Awareness training while serving in the U.S. Navy and as a defense consultant he implemented training programs on the Department of Defense’s financial planning process. He served on the financial committee for the U.S. Naval Institute and currently is an investment advisor for the Naval Helicopter Association. He is the past president of the Washington D.C. chapter of the American Association of Individual Investors and a regular speaker for the Virginia Tech Financial Literacy Program.

Peter C. Woolston Portfolio Manager Peter joined The Burney Company in 1984. He is a Syracuse University class of 1967 graduate and holds a graduate degree from The University of Colorado. He lives with his wife and two children in Essex, Connecticut.

Eugene Yashin, CFA Director of Research and Development, Portfolio Manager Eugene joined the company as Director of R&D and has been instrumental in expanding Burney’s proprietary analytical system. His analytical research is bolstered by his previous institutional and emerging markets experience. He oversaw investment systems at ULLICO and earlier in his career worked as an analyst for Signet New Capital Markets Fund. Eugene is a CFA charterholder and a member of the CFA Institute. He earned an MBA in Finance and IT from American University, Washington, DC and a BBA in International Finance from SLU.
